This project is inspired by nostalgia.

My aunty had placed these bright blue chairs with black metal legs on her nature strip to discard. I was surprised to find myself pleading with her to keep them or at least sell them - don’t just throw them away. I then realised they were more than just chairs. They were vivid blue beacons of memories, iconic reminders of the old days.

For a solid three months and counting, I’ve been capturing other people’s memories that were waiting to be collected from the side of the road.
